iPhone Accessories: iBooster cellular booster kit
For those iPhone users complaining of poor cellular reception, Wilson Electronics' iBooster could be the perfect accessory.
It has been designed to boost mobile reception on both second and third generation iPhones particularly when being used in a vehicle. Its external antenna increases the iPhone's output power to the cell site and improves the phone's ability to hear signals in weak areas. It should improve call quality, reduce the number of dropped calls and increase data rates.
It uses a bi-directional Smart Technology signal amplifier. The all-in-one unit also combines a charger for the iPhone and can be run from a car's cigarette lighter.
Available in the US from the spring, price to be confirmed.
